Carla Pappalardo has resided in Wyckoff with her husband Joseph and their two children, Michael and Katie, for 17 years.
She has led and served on numerous committees as an unpaid volunteer in the local school systems. Most notably she served on the Executive Boards of the Sicomac PTO, Eisenhower PTO and the Wyckoff Coordinating Council. For three years she was the Executive Producer of FLOW Follies, the largest college scholarship fundraising organization in our community, annually raising around $40,000.00 for distribution to high school seniors. Additionally, Carla was invited and served on several joint committees including the Municipal Alliance, IHHS Project Graduation and the 2012 Ramapo Indian Hills Strategic Planning Committee for the Board of Education.

While raising her two children in the town, she was a Cub Scout leader, and team “Mom” for various recreational sports activities. A member of St. Elizabeth RC Church, Pappalardo taught CCD for 10 years.
“Wyckoff has been a wonderful community to raise our two children – from the education system, the recreation department and free library, to the many efforts powered by volunteerism – its strength is in the joint efforts of many individuals. I am running for Town Council as a progression of my volunteerism in Wyckoff, and to represent those who have not had a seat at the table.”
She received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from St. Norbert College in 1980 and her Juris Doctor with honors from Chicago Kent College of Law in 1983. Formerly, a Labor Relations specialist at United Airlines and Chief Negotiator for K+S and Morton Salt, she is currently a partner in ALDC, a company that stages dance competition events.
